Our Communications and Engagement Officer will support the Communications and Engagement Manager in delivering a communications and engagement strategy to promote the work of the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre. The BRC is a £66m partnership between the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and King’s College London (www.maudsleybrc.nihr.ac.uk) funded over 5 years by the NIHR.
The post will engage key stakeholder groups including staff across the King’s Health Partners Academic Health Science Centre, NIHR and Department of Health and Social Care, policy makers, patients and the public and the wider UK life sciences community including industry.
You will be passionate about science and able to translate scientific research into engaging communications for a variety of audiences. We are looking for someone with good working knowledge of all communication disciplines, including social media, and their use as part of an integrated communications strategy.
The salary will be paid at Grade 5, £28,098 - £32,548 per annum, plus £2,923 per annum London Allowance.
This post will be indefinite.
This is a full-time role.
The selection process will include a panel interview and an assessment.
