Reproductive Health Policy Internship (graduate students)
National Partnership for Women & Families
Job Code: B28027
Location: USA – Washington, D.C
The National Partnership for Women & Families promotes fairness in the workplace, reproductive health and rights, access to quality affordable health care, and policies that help women and men meet the dual demands of work and family. We believe that actions speak louder than words, and for four decades we have fought for every major policy advance that has helped women and families. Our reproductive health team advocates in Congress and in the Executive Branch for better reproductive health policy and for judicial and other executive nominees who support women's reproductive health and rights.
The Reproductive Health Policy Intern will work on a variety of projects, including legislative and policy research and analysis, drafting and editing public education materials, and assisting in publication of the Daily Women's Health Policy Report. Interns will also have the opportunity to attend coalition meetings, briefings,
hearings, and other events on Capitol Hill and in other venues around town.
The internship is unpaid, but is available for course credit and may be full-time or part-time.
The National Partnership is committed to equal employment opportunity. We value and encourage diversity and solicit applications from all qualified applicants without regard to gender, race, color, national origin, disability, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status or any other factor protected by law. Please see "EEO is the Law" for more information on Equal Employment Opportunities.
