- Public Policy & Regulation Intern, USA
The IFAC Public Policy & Regulation (PPR) Intern will support the PPR team while learning about international public policy and regulation, as well as the broader global accounting profession and its role in the global economy.
Key areas of responsibility may include:
Contributing to ongoing IFAC PPR projects through data analysis, drafting reports and/or other inputs as required.
Researching and compiling information from regulatory sources and writing IFAC’s monthly Global Regulatory Report;
Collaborating with the PPR team to research background and originate projects to underpin IFAC’s policy positons and advocacy on topics such as international taxation, combatting fraud and corruption, regulation, and others as determined;
Participating in internal meetings and external advocacy and maintaining minutes and notes as required; and
Engaging with other areas within IFAC as scheduling commitment allows.
You will work under the supervision of management but will be expected to work independently on your own initiative. Seniors and graduate students are preferred for this paid internship.
You must have excellent research, analysis and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail, flexibility, the ability to manage time and prioritize tasks, and a positive attitude are also important qualities to succeed in this role.
We are looking for a senior or graduate student to join our team as a paid, part-time intern. The internship would start spring or summer 2018, for a minimum of a 3-4 month internship (no maximum length).
