The Vera Institute of Justice seeks an intern interested in nonprofit management to assist the executive vice president and special counsel with projects at the intersection of fundraising and program development. The primary responsibilities of the intern will be to provide research, writing, outreach, and other forms of support for several projects seeking to promote the Vera Institute and secure opportunities to develop and sustain Vera’s programmatic work.
Currently enrolled in a graduate, law or professional school program, preferably in non-profit management or related areas;
A demonstrated commitment to the values at the heart of criminal justice reform;
The ability to work with others effectively and efficiently;
Strong writing and communications skills; and
Demonstrated experience in fundraising, communications, writing, administration, or non-profit management.
