The Policy Intern’s duties will include researching and analyzing current policy issues; drafting briefs/memoranda, reports, talking points, fact sheets, and other written materials; tracking federal legislation and regulatory actions; and attending meetings, hearings, and briefings. Interns will also have the opportunity to attend coalition meetings and briefings, hearings, and other events on Capitol Hill and in other venues around town.

Qualifications include excellent research, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills; the ability to manage multiple tasks and take initiative; and the ability to work independently.

The internship is unpaid but is available for course credit and may be full-time or part-time. Full-time candidates preferred.
